Work on the new miniature breakfast foods tutorial continues, and I had a tiny triumph yesterday while making miniature oatmeal. I’ve never been satisfied with my previous attempts; the texture just wasn’t quite right. But I’ve finally unlocked the secrets of tiny oatmeal (buahahah–take that, oatmeal!), and I’ve outlined the entire process in the new tutorial.

Along with the infamous oatmeal, I sculpted a few breakfast plates with sunnyside-up eggs, hash browns, roasted potatoes, and sausage patties (I have a new method for those, too, which will be in the book), and I made a few bagels as well.

Needless to say, I have had some major breakfast-food cravings this week! Here’s a little photo tour to kick off some cravings of your own.
