I’ve just finished sculpting the last of the foods for my upcoming tutorial book on miniature Valentine’s Day foods (see more pics here), a yummy heart-shaped pizza with fresh mozzarella and cherry tomatoes. Why, oh why can’t it be real?? (I need to eat lunch.)

In the book, I’ll show you how to make every last detail of this miniature pizza (and all the other foods pictured below), including the little cherry tomato wedges, which would also work great in dollhouse salads, falafel wraps, Italian dishes, and more polymer clay foods. And I outline a shortcut caning method, so you don’t have to use up a ton of clay like traditional caning. Want to see what the real-life pizza looks like? Check it out here on my Valentine’s Day Pinterest board.
