The mice and I have a brand new tutorial for you today! Even better: this project takes less than an hour ⏰ so it’s perfect for sneaking in a little mini-making time.

(If you stick around ’til the end, I’ve also got a fun romance-related announcement…)

Let’s Make Some Pie!

a sneak peek inside

Can I tell you my absolute favorite part of this project??

💡 I figured out a super simple way to make a pie tin using the same exact mold used for the pie. It’s so stinkin’ cute, and the tutorial walks you through exactly how to do it.

Speaking of, you will need one mold, my pie crust mold, which is available in both 1:12 scale and 1:6 scale.

You’ll see a discounted offer in my shop whether you click on the tutorial or the mold:

4 Pies in 1

An easy way to get more mileage from this tutorial is to swap out the filling color.

👉 Mix up a lemon-yellow clay or a key-lime green, and combine this color with translucent clay in a ratio of 1 part colored clay to 2 parts translucent.

Just swap that out for the chocolate filling, and proceed with the whipped topping!

👉 You could also make a chocolate crust by using the chocolate filling clay for the crust instead.

🥧 Prefer to buy the already made pie? I have one 1:6 scale pie left.

A Little Romance…

Those of you who’ve been with me for a while know that I started writing romance a few years ago.

I’m in the home stretch of my second novel, and things got kinda rough there for a minute. (More like a month.) The revisions were sloggity slogging, so I decided to share my writing process via…a new podcast!

Yep, I made my very first podcast, and holy cow, it was so fun. 🤩

Heads up: I do use a bit of adult language (pretty sparingly, despite the podcast’s title). If you’re interested, not only in writing craft, but in hearing me dish on all the personal life/emotional stuff that the writing process dredged up, you’ll love the first episode!
