I’ve been working on the furniture in the miniature bakery this week, and yesterday I finished building a counter unit with a “stainless steel” top (it’s actually made from aluminum). This counter will be in the rear of the bakery in the preparation area, and I’m not loving the idea of gluing shelves to the pretty wallpaper, so I might make a sort of hutch unit to sit on top of the counter for additional storage. We’ll see.
For now, I’m waiting on a shipment from my supplier: two bay windows for the front of the shop (I’ve decided to give the room a front wall) along with some other accessories. Once the windows arrive, I can measure out and build the front wall, and this will help me decide whether I need to build one more display table for the central area of the shop or if I can simply use the windows as additional display areas for cute minis. I can’t wait!
And, as I mentioned in a previous post, all of the steps I’ve taken so far will be outlined in detail in the book I’m working on concurrently with the bakery!

Wow!! The steel table actually looks like a table I’d find at an actual bakery! Keep it up! <3
