The new summer foods book is coming right along, and I’m nearly finished with the sculpting and photographing stage. (Learn more about the book-creation process in this post.)
Today’s photos are all from the book, so you’ll know how to make all of these miniature foods as soon as it’s released. Which reminds me: if you missed yesterday’s post, I’ve listed a variety of new ceramic dishes in my shop, dishes that I used for the foods in this book. You can see what’s available here.
All right, on to the tiny food.
Today’s mini menu features grilled red snapper served on a bed of thinly sliced herbed potatoes, a lobster tail bursting with tender meat and served with a delicious garlic butter sauce, a lobster roll on a steamed bun with a side of fries, and two crispy crab cakes with a dollop of Old Bay mayo and fresh herbs. Yumm…

Yes, the story of my life. One of the drawbacks of being surrounded by images of food all. the. time. š
