Well, let me tell you: I really wanted to send you fun work-in-progress pics as I was creating my new Halloween tutorial last month, but life has been life-ing, and my to-do has been endlessly to-doing.
So.
Here we are, the tutorial done, and you’re just now hearing about it. 🫠 Onwards!

The Project That Started It All
Two words: spiderweb charcuterie.
I found a picture of a brie spiderweb cheese board on Pinterest, and the fire was lit. 🔥 I had to miniaturize it.
The charcuterie board ended up being the most advanced project in the book, solely because of the webbing. I’d planned to use a paint pen or a black Sharpie, but neither created the look I was after.
Turns out, thin strands of polymer clay were just what the tiny food doctor ordered, but it did make for a rather persnickety project.

I deliberately made the rest of the projects less involved—but they’re no less cute! Check out this fox cheesecake, OMG. 😍

I included one non-food project, too: boo-tiful ghost candles. They’re super simple to make, and I show you how to add optional wax drips if you’re feeling fancy.

There’s also a project in both 1:6 and 1:12 scale (the rest of the book is 1:12 scale), just in case your Blythe and Barbie dolls are feeling peckish: Pumpkin Patch Brownies.
