For the past few months, I’ve been working on a project that I’ve been dying to share with you…and now I finally can! I had the opportunity to work with an awesome company, Brit + Co, on a project they were doing in collaboration with Better Homes and Gardens. Talk about fun.
It’s been on my bucket list to see my minis in videos, and I finally got to cross that one off the list! For the project, I made a variety of miniature rooms and props for a series of DIY videos, which you can check out here. If you’re reading this today, October 20, be sure to visit the Brit + Co website in the coming weeks, because there are a couple more videos yet to debut.
Here are some behind-the-scenes peeks at the making of the rooms and props. Enjoy!

SQUEEEEEE!
OMG, that Christmas tree! Wherever did you get it?! With its chubby shape and those fat lightbulbs it would look just like the ‘olde timey’ trees my Grandparents used to get. Add some angel hair on top of the bulbs and icicles and NOW we’re talkin’! :*
That Unicorn glue bottle is so cute!! I don’t know how you come up with some of these things, Moe, but I just adore it. All of it!

OMG! I just realized I’ve been spelling your name with an E! THAT looks positively ridiculous, is there any way I/you can edit it? I promise I wasn’t thinking about Moe Howard when I typed that, for one thing you’re much cuter than him, and I’m pretty certain you don’t poke people in their eyes. For pete’s sake!! *blushes* I’m losing it. 😀
While I’m here, I just finished watching all of the cute little videos on Brit + Co. Back-to-back. They’re so colorful and fun! I also realized I love the color combination you chose for the little blankets and pillows in the bedroom, and the room over-all. It reminds me of a MCM color-palette.
Okay, I’m done. Stick a fork in me. 😀

Thanks, Deb!!! I found the tree at Michaels and the bulbs are from my mini supplier. It was too fun to put everything together!! Glad you like the unicorn bottle. 😉 I was trying to find cute ways of not using brand names.

hehehheheh Well actually, my mom used to call me Moe Howard when I was little, and then it got shortened to Mo Howie…then Howie–let’s just say it’s been a ridiculous evolution. 😉
Thanks for watching the videos!! <3
