In my last post, I gave you a preview of the brand new series of dollhouse miniature tutorials I’ll be releasing throughout the year. Volume 1 is already available: Dollhouse Miniature Tea Party Foods, and Volume 2 will be releasing next week.
For Volume 2, I’m doing something completely different from any of my previous tutorials: miniature stationery supplies! I’m a total stationery fiend, and I’ve always wanted to make tiny versions for my dollhouse, so for this tutorial book I’ll be covering how to make tiny hand-painted cards and envelopes, sealing wax, colored pencils (complete with a sharpener and pencil shavings!), rolls of washi tape, and more.
While I still have a few things that I need to finish making on Monday, here’s a sneak peek at the new book…

These are great tutorials! I was wondering, do you use a pasta roller for clay? And if so, how do you clean it? Also, how do you store your clay? Thanks!

Thanks, Cortnie! 🙂 I use this method for cleaning my pasta machine, and I store my clay in plastic trays with little dividers that fit inside a storage drawer. I think the trays were originally supposed to be for scrapbooking supplies or something, but they work well for storing clay. Just make sure whatever plastic you use is acetate free or the clay will react with it and get all gooey! Here are some useful plastic tips.

Actually, I have one more question for you! 😉 What do you use to make your molds? Yours are so amazing and I can’t seem to find a mold maker that does it justice.
