In between working on the miniature bakery and custom orders, I’ve been sculpting foods that are part of a collaboration I’m doing with Susan of Lush Little Landscapes. She’ll be displaying my food pieces in her lovely scenes, and I’m really excited to see this first batch of BBQ foods in its new habitat.
Ready for some eye candy? Today I finished sculpting cheeseburgers, hot dogs in grilled buns, raw burger patties and hot dogs, a rack of ribs, and gooey s’mores.
If you want to learn how to sculpt your own miniature foods, be sure to grab a copy of How to Sculpt Miniature Summer Foods From Polymer Clay.

Oh my gosh, you could start Photoshopping pictures of “real” food in next to yours, and I doubt I would even be able to tell the difference. You just keep getting better and better! The other day when I was showing my mom your pics, I came across one from last year, and your skills have improved a lot since then — and I am very sure I said that last year too. 🙂 So amazing.

Awww, thank you, Lisa; that really means a lot! 😀 I do struggle with not hating everything I’ve made up until this month, basically, and wanting to go back and redo everything, but aside from that neurotic nonsense, I’m quite happy that my skills are improving! 😉
