Holy moly, it’s good to finally be catching up on Mouse work.

If you’re on my newsletter, you may have heard me talking about an advanced bodywork training I’d been doing for my other business, Life Alchemy Massage Therapy. The training was nine months and had me traveling back and forth from Missouri to Maine for weeks at a time.

Needless to say, I haven’t had much time to start any new mini projects.

Until now. Woo hoo!

First order of business was playing with some new clay colors from the awesome folks at Sculpey, and what better way to use them than with a rainbow of tiny ice cream!

I don’t know why I haven’t done this before, but I decided to make ice cream sundae rings (get yours here)–and I want to wear them with EVERYTHING now.

If you want to make your own, the colors I used are:

  • Sculpey Soufflé in Raspberry
  • Sculpey III in Poppy
  • Sculpey Soufflé in Grape
  • Sculpey Soufflé in Cornflower
  • Sculpey III in Teal

And to play with some funky color combinations, I made a pair of Pool Party Cake Earrings with Poppy, Cornflower and Teal.

The cake layer colors kind of remind me of (Finding) Nemo. 😉

And last but not least, if, like me, you’ve ever struggled to enliven too-hard clay, you are going to love this stuff. Genius!

Where have you been all my life, Sculpey clay softener?

I’m looking forward to getting back into the swing of things over the coming weeks. New food jewelry, new dollhouse minis, and new tutorial books–yippee!
