I wanted to share a quick video with you today, showing how I store my polymer clay frostings and tips for speeding up the mini-making process!
In the video, I mention a specific type of Sculpey clay that I use for my base mix, and you can find that here: Sculpey Original in White.
Keeping smaller batches of different colors on hand makes it so much easier to decorate tiny cookies without having to mix up every color from scratch each time!

What kind of coloring do you add to the white clay to get all those colors?

Hi Jill! I use chalk pastel, grated off the stick with a razor blade to form a powder, which I stir into the frosting. No special brand needed; any generic craft store variety will do. Check out my free tutorials for more detailed instructions: https://themousemarket.com/free-tutorial/
You can also use colored liquid clays, but they’re pricier, especially if you want a wider range of colors, so unless I have a really large batch of frosting I need to tint (rare for the majority of my tiny projects), I stick with the chalk pastels.
Hope that helps!
