Yesterday, I noticed myself in an unhelpful thought loop. It reminded me of a passage from my book, an exchange between Ev, my main character, and the love interest, Matt.

My unproductive thought was: I want to create another mini food tutorial, but it “has” to have a certain number of projects to warrant making it.

Thing is, I’m dealing with health issues right now, and my energy is incredibly finite.

I fill tiny food orders in the morning, and the afternoon is for romance writing + book marketing. If I don’t stick to my intentionally short to-do list, even wandering off to do a couple of teensy off-list tasks can leave me too wiped to finish the must-do’s.

Point being, embarking on a new tutorial feels challenging.

Until I realized that, in this case, there are no rules besides the ones I create in my mind. Duh.

Who says a tutorial has to be a certain number of projects?

(Me. I said that. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ )

Instead, I’m going to work on projects as I can and perhaps release a shorter-than-usual tutorial. And if I decide to add projects later, I can simply offer them as a bonus upgrade. Easy peasy.

Ooooh, I almost forgot to tell you the topic: Itty Bitty Bodega!!

It’s gonna be a fun one.

In the meantime, I’m running a 20% OFF flash sale on all my tutorials—yippee!

The sale ends Friday at midnight.

Don’t forget, you can save more by grabbing one of my already discounted boxed sets, which are now an additional 20% off.

Here’s to not playing life on hard mode.

Happy mini making!
